We are part of Harvest House, a producer organization of Dutch growers. We grow high-quality fruit vegetables in an innovative and sustainable way. We see it as our mission to offer everyone in the world access to affordable, healthy and tasty food in this way. How we do this together in a sustainable way is laid down in Harvest House’s sustainability policy. This policy rests on three pillars: healthy people, healthy planet and healthy entrepreneurship. Together, we are the source of a healthy life.
Everyone access to healthy, nutritious and delicious food. Every single day. That’s our vision. And that could be done with a global ecosystem of horticultural greenhouses at various strategic hub locations around the world. That is our dream, so that preferably within a radius of 800 km everyone has daily access to healthy nutritious and tasty fruit vegetables grown sustainably. This imaginary radius of 800 km ensures that fresh vegetables are no longer than 1 day’s drive from greenhouse to end user immediately after harvest.
We work every day to make healthy, nutritious and delicious fruit vegetables accessible in a sustainable way and to motivate people to eat more vegetables. We do this throughout the entire chain; from breeding and growing, to harvesting, packaging, transporting and marketing. Together with our growers, employees, partners and stakeholders. The foundation of everything we do is that we are the source of healthy living.
At Harvest House, we are committed every day to providing everyone with access to healthy, nutritious and delicious food. How we do that in a sustainable way is what Harvest House has laid out in its sustainability policy. Because we are members of Harvest House, we contribute to this every day. Harvest House’s sustainable thinking applies just as much to us.
The sustainability policy rests on three pillars: healthy people, healthy planet and healthy entrepreneurship. This is how Harvest House demonstrates: We are the source of healthy living.
That’s what we stand for. And we make that visual at Harvest House like a house.
